Résumé: The social responsibility of business organization and its role in achieving sustainable development It has become imperative for business organizations to survive and thrive, to ensure in their strategies and long-term plans, gradual and sustained environmental and social considerations in economic activity, that contribute to the achievement of sustainable development. Social responsibility can be considered as an effective tool to achieve this purpose, as it integrates standards and moral values in the economic practices of the various activities and functions, which involves commitment to act ethically and responsibly towards stakeholders, the environment and the society as a whole, and contribute to the achievement of sustainable development. The success of any organization today is not measured only by the achievementof economic objectives, but what is accomplished on the social side, through improving its brand image in the minds of employees, customers, consumers and all members of the community, in addition to environmental Achievement through the protection of the environment, conservation of natural resources , and reduce pollution.
