أثر مؤشرات الحكم الراشد في ترشيد النفقات العامة في الجزائر
Résumé: This study aims to measure the impact of good governance on public expenditures in Algeria during the period 1996-2020. The Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used to test the relationship between the composite governance index and public expenditures, as well as the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) methodology to test for short-term and long-term relationships between governance indicators and public expenditures. The study found, using the PLS-SEM method, a positive impact of good governance on public expenditures, as well as a strong positive impact on both equipment expenditures and operating expenditures. The results of the ARDL model showed that the regulatory quality index has a negative impact on public expenditures in both the short and long term, and that the indicators of voice and ccountability and the rule of law have a negative impact on public expenditures in the long term.
