Trade Openness And Economic Growth In Algeria Empirical Test (1985-2015)

Résumé: This study sought to search for the relationship between trade openness and economic growth in Algeria during the period (1985-2015), using the autoregressive co-integration model for distributed time gaps (ARDL). The results showed the absence of a relationship in the long and short terms between trade openness and economic growth in Algeria, due to the inflexibility of exports and the high volume of imports that negatively affected the position of the trade balance during the study period. تسعى هذه الدراسة الى البحث عن العلاقة بين الانفتاح التجاري والنمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة (1985-2015)، وذلك باستخدام نموذج التكامل المشترك للانحدار الذاتي للفجوات الزمنية الموزعة (ARDL). حيث اظهرت النتائج عدم وجود علاقة في الاجلين الطويل والقصير بين الانفتاح التجاري والنمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر، ويرجع ذلك بسبب عدم مرونة الصادرات وارتفاع حجم الواردات التي اثرت سلبا على وضعية الميزان التجاري خلال فترة الدراسة.
