Résumé: تُمثل السياسة المقارنة محور علم السياسة والركن الأساسي الذي انبثقت منه وتفاعلت فيه أهم المدارس والاتجاهات والنماذج المعرفية على المدى الذي تطور فيه علم السياسة عموما. وبالقدر الذي تطور فيه علم السياسة تطورت معه السياسة المقارنة كمنهج للتحليل، انتقل فيه الحقل من النموذج المعرفي الفلسفي المعياري إلى النموذج السلوكي ، الذي اتسمت فيه الأبحاث إلى تحليل المؤسسات والنظم والسلوكيات ، الذي لم تعد فيه البنى الفلسفية والخلفيات التاريخية ذات مصداقية ، وقد رافقت هذه التحولات تغيرات على مستوى النظريات والمناهج في دراسة السياسة المقارنة.
