Résumé: Le présent article propose une analyse du mythe de l'enfant sacrifié dans le roman policier Qu'attendent les singes sous la plume de Yasmina Khadra. Nous commencerons par définir les deux notions, celle du mythe puis celle du polar. Ensuite, nous relèverons les points convergents entre ces deux genres en apparence diamétralement opposés. Enfin, nous analyserons les aspects du mythe de l'enfant sacrifié tantôt Iphigénie, tantôt Jephté. À la fois Abraham et d'autres fois Cronos créant ainsi un syncrétisme mythologique grâce à une réécriture et une réadaptation des mythes pour les besoins du roman policier. This article proposes an analysis of the myth ofthe sacrified child in a genre as controversial as the detective novel Qu'attendent les singes from the pen of Yasmina Khadra. We will begin by defining the two notions, thatof myth and that of polar. Then, we will identify the points of convergence between these two seemingly diametrically opposed genres. Finally, we will analyze the aspects of the myth of the sacrified child, sometimes Iphigenia, sometimes Jephthah. Both Abraham and other times Cronos. This creating a mythological syncrétisme thanks to a rewriting and adaptation of myths for the needs of the detective novel.
