Conducted Emi Prediction In Dc/dc Converter Using Frequency Domain Approach
Résumé: This paper presents a simplified approach to predict conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by a DC/DC buck converter in frequency domain. In this approach, the differential mode (DM) and common mode (CM) models take into account the parasitic ringing effect generated during diode's turn-off and MOSFET's turn-off. The switching transients are modeled by two high frequency equivalent circuits and all parasitic elements of interconnects and semiconductor devices are included. Based on the Laplace Transform, the DM and CM models are implemented under SPICE simulator in frequency domain. The CM and DM noise spectrum is obtained rapidly and directly in frequency-domain, the precision of the proposed approach is compared with the experimental results.
