Résumé: الملخص باللغة العربية: مثّلت تيهرت إحدى أهم حواضر المغرب الإسلامي في العصر الوسيط حتى سماها البعض ب: "عراق المغرب"، فقد تبوأت مكانتها الحضارية نتيجة ما زخرت به من خاصيات طبيعية؛ بموقعها وسط سهول داخلية واسعة تغذيها شبكة من الأنهار، تميزها تربة خصبة ومناخ شبه قاري ملائم لزراعة الحبوب وخاصة القمح. وإمكانات بشرية تمثلت في اليد العاملة التي توفرت بفضل الوافدين إلى تيهرت الرستمية من الباحثين عن الاستقرار والأمن الذي ميزها، والجهود التي بذلها حكام الدولة لتشجيع فلاحة الأرض وتربية الماشية، فأقبل الناس على الزراعة والرعي، حتى اشتهر بعض هؤلاء الحكام بممارسة هذا النشاط بأنفسهم، وغدت الفلاحة الحرفة الغالبة على نشاط السكان. ومن هنا نركز في هذه الورقة البحثية على إبراز هذه الخصائص والإمكانات، ودورها فيما حققه سكان تيهرت وباديتها من وفرة في الإنتاج الفلاحي وتربية المواشي، فعم الرخاء وكثرت الأموال. وقد وجدنا في كتب الرحلات والجغرافيا إشارات هامة لجوانب مختلفة في موضوع الفلاحة و ما ارتبط بها، وهو ما يعوض النقص الملاحظ في المصادر الأدبية وخصوصا التاريخية التي ركّزت على الأحداث السياسية ولم تشر إلى هذا الموضوع إلا إشارات عابرة متناثرة لا تغني الباحث للوصول إلى الدور الحضاري الذي ميّز هذه المنطقة في هذه المرحلة من تاريخها. Abstract: Tehert represented one of the most important cities of the Islamic Maghreb in the Middle Ages, until some called it "the Iraq of Maghreb." It gained its civilization place due to the richness of its natural particularities, its location in the middle of wide interior plains fed by a network of rivers thatwas characterized by fertile soil and a semi-continental climate suitable for the cultivation of grains, especially wheat. And human potential of man-power that was made available thanks to the arrivals to Tehert Al-Rustamiah as a result of the stability and security that distinguished it.Besides, the efforts made by the rulers of the state to encourage cultivation of the land and breeding animals. This made some rules famous through exercising that activity themselves and which led agriculture to become the most craft of the population activity. This research paper focuses on highlighting these characteristics and potentialities and their rolein what the residents of Tehrt and its countryside achieved in the availability of agricultural production and the large numbers of animals. So prosperity prevailed and money increased. We have found in travel and geography books important references to various aspects of the subject of agriculture and what is related to it, which compensates for the lack observed in literary sources, especially historical ones that focused on political events and did not refer to this topic except for scattered passing references that do not enrich the researcher to reach the civilized role that distinguished this area in this époque of its history.
