Résumé: Agriculture, the cornerstone of humanity for millennia, nourishes our populations, shapes our landscapes, and weaves the identity of our cultures. It ensures our survival by providing food, raw materials, and essential resources. Its role extends beyond production, as it also contributes to environmental preservation, poverty reduction, and job creation. However, this vital sector faces numerous challenges that threaten its sustainability and ability to meet the growing needs of the population. Climate change, soil degradation, water scarcity, land pressure, price volatility, and limited access to technological innovations are some of the major obstacles that agriculture must overcome. These challenges strain farmers, weaken their farms, and hinder food production. Climate change, with its climatic upheavals and increasing environmental effects, poses a major threat to global agriculture and food security.
