Résumé: إن التاريخ هو ذاكرة الشعوب فمنه تستقى هويتها وتبنى مستقبلها، لذا الأمم تولي اهتمام بالغ بمادة التاريخ ووثائقه وتتحراها في كل مكان، فبنت لها المكتبات والمتاحف، إلا أنه في الجزائر وتحت طائلة الاستعمار استنزفت هذه الثروة وحولت لتحفظ في مكتبات، ودور أرشيف ما وراء البحار وبالرغم من ذلك وعلى ضوء الوثائق التي تركت أو استردت، فإننا عدنا إلى الرصيد العثماني المتواجد في المكتبة الوطنية بالحامة، في قسم المخطوطات قصد التعريف ببعضه وما فيه من مادة علمية تاريخية، لنقف من خلاله على قضية الحصار البحري وتجنيد المتطوعة من المشرق ومعركة نفارين لسنة 1827م بالأخص، وهذا نتيجة لتداعياتها على الجزائر والمنطقة ككل. History is the memory of people, from which the identity is sourced and the future is built. Therefore, nations value history and its documents and seek it everywhere to put it in libraries and museums. Nevertheless, in Algeria under the colonization, this resource was abused and moved overseas. Under the light of what was left or retrieved, I studied documents from Ottoman archives in the National Library of Hamma and shed some light on its scientific and historic documents, especially, the case of maritime siege, volunteers’ recruitment and Navarine battle of 1827 AD. due to its consequences on Algeria and the region overall
