Résumé: This study aims to explore the relationship between self-esteem and family resilience among women with diabete type 1, as well as to investigate the potential influence of age on this relationship. Additionally, it seeks to identify possible differences in self-esteem among women with diabete type 1 who have high family resilience according to marital status, motherhood, and employment. Following the goals of this study, a descriptive correlational approach was adoped. The study was conducted on a sample of 56 women, who were chosen with convenience sampling. The data for the current study were collected using the Family Resilience Scale developed by Froma Walsh in 2003 and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale from 1965. The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and the following results were recorded: • There is no statistically significant correlation between family resilience and self-esteem among women with diabete type 1. • Age is a significant factor influencing the relationship between family resilience and self-esteem in women with diabete type 1. • Differences in self-esteem among women with diabete type 1 who have high family resilience were confirmed based on marital status, while differences in self-esteem based on motherhood and employment status were denied. These results were presented , analyzed , and interpreted in the light of theorectical heritage, pervious studies , and real-life experiences .
