Résumé: Summary : ' The issue of proving parentage in light of Arab and Islamic legislation is of great importance because it is linked to several religious, moral, social and even health aspects. The Algerian legislator’s interest was sufficient and accurate in the issue of proving parentage, and this interest is evident in the Algerian family law due to scientific discoveries and modern medical developments and biological studies Perhaps one of the most prominent topics related to lineage is to prove it, considering that the link of lineage is the most noble of human ties. With reference to Islamic Sharia, we note its great interest in establishing lineage and giving it special protection, and this is due to the need for children to attach to their fathers religiously and legallyThis research comes to answer many of the complex and overlapping problems related to the legal and scientific means or methods to prove parentage, the extent to which scientific methods are used and their legal authority in proving parentage, and the extent of the legality of benefiting from some modern scientific techniques in the field of establishing parentage, under the shadow of the provisions of the Algerian Family Law.
