Résumé: The study aims mainly at discovering the relationship between the level of leisure time management and the level of occupational stress among the teachers in the study sample. it also aims at knowing the management level of leisure time and the level of occupational pressures of primary school teachers in the sector of Ouargla city, in addition to the differences in the level of leisure time management according to the variable of perception, gender and practice. in addition, it aims to achieve these goals, we followed the descriptive approach as it is the appropriate approach to the subject. This study is applied to a sample of (310) male and female teachers who are chosen in a proportional, stratified random manner. Three tools are used to collect information and data It consists of two questionnaires prepared by the student, a questionnaire that understands the concept of sports recreation, a questionnaire on leisure time management, and a scale of occupational stress prepared by Mansouri Mustafa. After verifying the psychometric properties of the tools, the obtained data are processed statistically through the program (spss v 26), and we reached the following results: -There is a low level of leisure time management among primary school teachers in the city of Ouargla. - There is a high level of professional pressure among primary school teachers in the city of Ouargla. - There are statistically significant differences in the level of leisure time management among teachers due to the variable of perception. - There are statistically significant differences in the level of leisure time management among teachers due to the variable of gender. - There are statistically significant differences in the level of leisure time management among teachers due to the practice variable. - There is an inverse correlation with a statistical significance between the level of leisure time management and the level of occupational stress among primary school teachers in Ouargla in the light of their awareness of the concept of sports recreation. These results have been discussed in the light of previous studies and what mentioned in the theoretical aspect, And the most important thing recommended by the study is spreading awareness by sport experts on the need to exploit the leisure time of the educational family, and allocating even part of it to the practice of some recreational sports activities, and providing frameworks specialized in offering necessary consultations, such as appointing psychologists at the level of each district to monitor the psychological state of teacher.in order to relieve psychological and occupational pressures
