Résumé: Our job is to make a gas lift optimization study on the OMG block in the Hassi Messaoud Upside North area which is in natural depletion. The objective is to study the influence of some parameters that influence the optimization of gas injection, the quantity of gas, the depth and the diameter of the liners. From the positive results obtained in the optimization scenarios, we can conclude that the transition to the secondary recovery (gas lift) is necessary to maintain the reservoir pressure and the production plateau for a long time. We used the MBAL code to calculate the reserves of the block and the PIPESIM code for the optimization of gas lift wells
