Résumé: كانت تجربة الإسلام في المراحل التأسيسية، حافلة بقيم التعايش، وراسخة في وعي التاريخ، فمع ظهور الدين الإسلامي الجديد، برز تغير هائل في بناء العلاقات الاجتماعية، وتعامل الإسلام وأتباعه مع غير المسلمين على أساس الحرية الدينية والتسامح، إلا أن ظروفا معينة جعلت هذا الأساس يتحول إلى حالة اعتداء وصدام بين المسلمين وغير المسلمين. في إطار هذا العمل سنحاول تفسير أسباب توتر العلاقة بين المسلمين وغيرهم، ودواعي ظهور ذلك التصادم الشديد بين الطرفين، رغم وجود دعوة إسلامية للتعايش والتسامح مع غير المسلم في المجتمع، مع السعي لتبيان علاقة الغرب بمقدسات المسلمين وما ترتب عنه خصوصا في الفترة الأخيرة Abstract The experience of Islam in the foundational stages was full of values of coexistence, and rooted in the consciousness of history. With the emergence of the new Islamic religion, a tremendous change emerged in building social relations, and Islam and its adepts dealt with non-Muslims on the basis of religious freedom and tolerance, but certain circumstances made this foundation transform to a state of aggression and clash between Muslims and non-Muslims. In this paper we try to explain the reasons for the tension in the relationship between Muslims and others, and the reasons for the emergence of that severe clash between the two parties, despite the existence of an Islamic call for coexistence and tolerance with non-Muslims in society, while striving to clarify the relationship of the West with the sanctities of Muslims and its consequences, especially in the recent period. .
