Résumé: This article treats the structure of Algerian free poetry’s image, exposing it sartistic dimensions like metaphorical dimension, and its total character and the property of fragmentation which this poem resorts to it sometimes. Also, this article reviews the forms of poetic image, such as the simple one and the complex, the visible one and the invisible, and Its function in the structure of the text which varies between artistic effectiveness and inefficiency, due to the diversity of poetic experiences at a single poem, and the variation between a poem and another.
