Résumé: Abstract Since years ago, most of applications based on wireless communication and sensing using the advanced technologies of electronic sensors and communication, which it can create UAV systems without human interaction. UAVs systems (networks) known as FANET (Fly Ad-hoc Network) an ad-hoc network between flying nodes such as drones or aircrafts. FANET is a subsection of MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network). It can solve problems caused by infrastructure network by providing multi-UAVs systems rather than single-UAVs because it covers large area and accuracy. However, the most important design problem for multi-UAVs is choosing the suitable routing protocol, which is crucial for cooperation and collaboration between flying nodes. In this study, we analyze the performance of the most popular routing protocols: GPSR (Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing Protocol) and DYMO (Dynamic Manet On Demand Routing Protocol) basing on different performance metrics like packet delivery ratio (PDR), End-to-End Delay (E2E delay) and power consumption to evaluate rate the performance. Simulation based test time is done using OMNET++ with framework INET. Results shows that the performance of DYMO is better when using PDR metric, while it is less using End to end delay metric compared with GPSR. The performance of the two protocols is approximate using power consumption metric.
