Résumé: يعدّ الشيخ إبراهيم أبو اليقظان من أهم الشخصيات الوطنية التي تركت بصمة واضحة في تاريخ الأدب الجزائري الحديث، وفي تاريخ الحركة الوطنية الجزائرية، والصحافة العربية بالجزائر التي تصدت للهيمنة الاستعمارية الفرنسية، الهادفة لمسخ الشخصية الوطنية العربية الإسلامية وطمس الثقافة الجزائرية الأصيلة، وإن المقالات التي سطرها قلم الشيخ أبي اليقظان تعدّ شاهدا حيا على مواقفه الثابتة تجاه الأمة والوطن، فضلا عن كونها ثراءً معرفيا متميزا للساحة الأدبية الجزائرية. Sheikh Ibrahim Abou Elyakdhan, is among the national figures, who left an indelible mark on the Algerian national movement history, as well as on the Arab press history in Algeria, that thwarted the French colonial hegemony aiming to metamorphose the Islamic Arab national character and obliterate the Algerian authentic culture.His essays are deemed a living proof of his determined stances towards the nation and the homeland, as well as being distinguised richness of knowledge of the Algerian literary arena.
