Contribution À L'étude De L'effet Insecticide Des Extraits De Tamarix Aphylla Et Balanites Aegyptiaca Sur Le Puceron Aphis Nerii (hémiptera ; Aphididae)

Résumé: Polyphenols are secondary plant metabolites that have been of increasing interest in recent years because of their multiple biological effects such as their insecticide properties. In our work, we studied two different types of medicinal plants Tamarix aphylla and Balanites aegyptiaca. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of extracts from the aerial portion of the Tamarix aphylla and the epicarps of the Balanites aegyptiaca in vitro on insect activity. The phytochemical results obtained revealed the richness of Tamarix aphylla and Balanites aegyptiaca in polyphenols and flavonoids. This confirmed the dosage of polyphenols which showed that the acetone extracts of both plants are richer in these compounds than their aqueous extracts. In addition, extracts prepared from the aerial portion of Tamarix aphylla and the epicarps of Balanites aegyptiaca have an insecticidal effect on Aphis nerii. The evaluation of the insecticide activity confirms that the effect of the extract changes according to the type of extract and at the same time according to the stage studied. The mortality rate increases with the independent exposure time the dose. Following the results obtained the effect of the extracts of Tamarix aphylla and Balanites aegyptiaca on the Aphis nerii is strongly linked to its polyphenols and flavonoids richness
