Résumé: The objective of the current study is to know the level of psychological alienation among female university students residing in the university neighborhoods of the city of Ouargla, Therefore, the questions of this study are: 1- What is the level of psychological alienation in the study sample? 2- Are there statistically significant differences in psychological alienation among female students residing on a university campus according to the social status variable (married/single)? 3- Are there statistically significant differences in psychological alienation among female students residing on university campuses according to the specialty variable (scientific/literary) 4- Are there statistically significant differences in the psychological alienation of female students residing on a university campus according to the variable number of years of residence (from 1 to 3 years / from 4 to 5 years / from 6 years or more)? In order to answer these questions, we adopted the exploratory descriptive approach on a sample of (100) university students residing in the university campus Chosen randomly. The data was processed using the program (SPSS). The study led to the following results: - The level of psychological alienation of female university students residing on university campuses in the city of Ouargla is low. - There are no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological alienation in the study sample in favor of the social status variable. - There are no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological alienation in the study sample in favor of the specialty variable. - There are statistically significant differences in the level of psychological alienation in the study sample in favor of the number of years of residence, in favor of female students whose length of residence varies from 1 to 3 years, because they felt more alienated.
