Résumé: تَرْمي الدراسات في البلاغة الجديدة لإعادة تأسيس البُرهان أو المحاجة الاستدلالية، باعتبارها تحديدا منطقيا بالمفهوم الواسع، و كَتِقَنية خاصة ومُتميّزة لدِراسة المنطق التّشريعي والقضائي على وجه التّحديد، و الدفع بامتداداته إلى بقية مجالات الخطاب المعاصر. أما الدَّعْوَى الَّتي نريد تَبْيينها على صفحات هذه المقالة من خلال تكوينِ فهمٍ أصيلٍ لمنطق المُحَاجَّة الفلسفية؛ هيَّ التَّأكيد على تجاوزها مفاهيم التزيين و التجميل و التحسين الذين ارتبطت بِهِما وظيفة البلاغة الكلاسيكية ، و وَصْلِها بالنجاعة في الإقناع لا بالجمال في الإمتاع. و هذا ما كان يرمي إليه '' شايم بيرلمان حين قام باستعراض الأطروحات المتناقضة و المتعارضة ذهنيا، و استجلاء مُنطلقاتها المنطقية و الاستدلالية و ذلك بهدف التعرف على نسبة الإقناع فيها.
