المصطلح اللّغوي في التّراث العربي -جهود الجاحظ في تشكيل المصطلح اللّغوي-

Résumé: يتأكّد لنا بأن المصطلحات مهما كان يحتل موقعاً متميّزًاً في الساحة الفكرية والأدبية، وأنها تمثل الأداة الفعالة في نموّ العلوم وتطوّرها، ولا تفهم العلوم المتباينة فهماً دقيقاً بدون الفهم الصحيح لهذه المصطلحات، ومن العوامل المساهمة في صياغة المصطلح: الاشتقاق والقياس والترجمة. وفي ظل هذا التوجّه، يبقى المصطلح، مهما كان دالا على قيمة خاصة، إذ بوجوده يتم التعبير «الروح العامة، ونظام الأفكار وقواعد القانون السائدة في المجتمع». وهي في رأينا الروح الاجتماعية التي تشكّل هويته، وترتبط بهذا الوجود الاجتماعي الذي بواسطته تبني الأفكار وتتأسس الضوابط والقوانين التي تضمن سلامة السير للمجتمع وفق إطار مصطلحي محدد مفهومه سلفاً e are assured that terminology, however distinct it may be in the intellectual and literary arena, is an effective tool in the growth and development of science, and disparate sciences are not accurately understood without the correct understanding of these terms, and contributing factors to the formulation of the term: derivation, measurement and translation. Under this orientation, the term remains, however valuable it may be, as "the public spirit, the system of ideas and the rules of law prevailing in society" is expressed. In our view, it is the social spirit that shapes its identity, and it is linked to this social existence by which ideas are embraced and regulations and laws are established that ensure the safety of the society's functioning according to a predetermined framework of terms
