Existentialism In The Postwar American Novel: A Feminist Existential Study Of Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar

Résumé: This paper examines existentialism in the postwar American novel, and then critically analyzes Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar using a feminist existentialist approach. The paper moves from existentialism in the 1960s literature, in general, to give context to the novel and feminist existentialism in specific. Le document passe de l'existentialisme dans la littérature des années 1960 en général, pour donner un contexte au roman et à l'existentialisme féministe en particulier.
