Résumé: Abstract : Infiltration is a new special investigation method introduced by the Algerian legislator in the field of investigation to combat certain types of crimes which is dangerous, complex and legally defined by Law No. 06-22 of September 20, 2006 amending and supplementing Ordinance No. 155-66 containing the Code of Criminal Procedure. It is a field work carried out by the judicial police officer or one of his assistants under the responsibility of the judicial police officer in charge of coordinating the operation in light of respecting the formal and objective conditions and under the supervision of the judicial authorities that granted permission which is represented by the public prosecutor or the investigative judge after notifying the public prosecutor while ensuring legal protection for the infiltrator during and after the infiltration process. This operation aims to infiltrate the ranks of criminal groups by deluding them that he is an important actor, an important partner, or eraser of their criminal evidence in order to stop them and put an end to theircriminal activity and bring them to the judicial authorities.
