دراسة إقتصادية قياسية لنسق العلاقة بين الإنفاق العام على رأس المال البشري والنمو الإقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة «1970-2017»

Résumé: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between public spending on human capital and economic growth in Algeria for the period 1970-2017 using the latest standard methods and statistical models in time series analysis, where the Douglas Cobb production function was used to build the model that contains the variable of public spending on education that which represents the investment in human capital and other independent variables represented in Gross fixed capital formation and And the number of work units, as well as the GDP variable are represented as a dependent variable. The treatment was divided into two parts: the first in which the model is estimated according to the linear ARDL approach, and the second part relates to the use of the non-linear model, where the focus was on the public spending variable on education by separating the positive and negative effects and determining their impact on the growth of the national economy, and the study concluded that Long-term equilibrium relationship between the studied variables, where the results of the linear model show a positive direct correlation of labor and capital with growth, while spending on education is not significant to growth, while the non-linear model indicates the presence of similarity in the size of positive and negative effects on the growth of the economy in the sense that the change in the size of growth when it increases Spending is the same when it decreases. From this it appears that education appears in an indirect relationship with the growth of output controlled by an intermediate element represented in the volume of changes in oil prices, and that the Algerian economic growth is closely related to the inputs of capital and labor.
