La Détection Des Différents Variants Sars-cov-2 Par Rt-pcr
Résumé: Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the emerging coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). Understanding and monitoring the genetic evolution of the virus, its characteristics, and its stability are particularly important for controlling the spread of the disease and especially for the development of a large number of diagnostic tests targeting the different genes of the virus. This study was realized at the Laboratory of Ahmed draya University Adrar on five samples taken by nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swabs, for the search of the SARS-COV- 2 genome by the RT-PCR molecular biology method using three different detection kits. The qualitative results of our study show that the presence of all the targeted genes confirms the presence of SARS-COV-2, but the absence of target amplification on the S gene indicate the presence of a variant Alpha, Delta or Omicron of SARS-COV-2.
