Résumé: In fact....modern Arab culture has not met the expectations of linguistics and has not maintained a econciliatory relationship with the new linguistic methodologies and their exploitation, unlike other Western nations, despite the emergence of serious and excellent scientific works during the Renaissance period, especially in Lebanon and Egypt. Their works contributed to deepening the understanding of the language as a whole by transferring methodologies, theories and translating pioneering experiences, thus competing epistemologically with the West. And suddenly... violence invaded the Arab consciousness, disrupting our ancient relationship with urselves and completely destroying our hopes and future prospects. We plunged into the depths of the ontemporary mind, where our identities fragmented, our hopes shattered, and our cultures dispersed, those cultures which then engulfed us... In the context of these complex transformations and confused contexts, Mustafa Ghallab dives into the heart of the Renaissance, where a forbidden history with empty lines lies. He untangles these contexts and analyzes those narratives that have hindered the Arab genius in the field of inguistics and its related disciplines in Arab culture
