Résumé: The current study aimed to know the impact of adolescents’ addiction to electronic games and its reflection on academic achievement. To reach the results and achieve the objectives of the study, we used the descriptive approach because it is the appropriate approach to a phenomenon from the field. The questionnaire is that the population we are studying is limited to the age of 15 to 17 years, and the number of the study sample is 40 students, including 30 males and 10 females. After processing, displaying and discussing the results, we reached the following: - Most of the educated teenagers in the study place have smart phones and like to play with them, unlike other electronic devices such as computers and electronic boards, which they rarely use in playing. - The best games for school-aged teenagers are FREE FIRE and PUBG because these games are easy to control and uncomplicated for them. - More than half of the educated adolescents in the study do not use electronic games within the institution, and this may be due to their respect for the institution’s system, while some of them use electronic games within the institution. This may be due to their severe addiction to electronic games, which suggests the emergence of negative effects on the institution. The background to that behavior, including failure in the study. - Despite the addiction of schoolchildren in the study to electronic games, they are not distracted from performing the prayers on time, and this indicates their good upbringing and morals.
