أهمية تعليم الأصم اللغة العربية جنبا إلى جنب مع لغة الإشارة بالجزائر Importance Of Teaching Arabic Alongside Sign Language For The Deaf In Algeria

Résumé: ما تزال فئة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة مهمشة بالجزائر، لاسيما ذوي الإعاقة السمعية منهم، فالصم وضعاف السمع يتلقون تعليما رديئا سواء بالمدارس العادية أو المدارس الخاصة المتخصصة للتكفل بهم وتعليمهم. ولعل من أهم أسباب تدني مستوى تعليم هذه الفئة بالجزائر ضُعف اكتسابهم للغة العربية و/أو لغة الإشارة من جهة، وعدم ملائمة وتكييف المناهج الدراسية وفق ما يتماشى وقدراتهم العقلية واللغوية من جهة أخرى. لذا تهدف هذه الورقة إلى تسليط الضوء على أهمية تدريس ذوي الإعاقة السمعية باللغة العربية جنبا إلى جنب مع لغة الإشارة، مع ضرورة إعادة النظر في المناهج المعتمدة لتدريس الصم والعمل على تكييفها للنهوض بمستواهم اللغوي والعلمي، والمساهمة في دمجهم في المجتمع شأنهم شأن أي فرد يتمتع بحاسة سمع سليمة. People with disabilities, especially those with hearing impairments, continues to be marginalized in Algeria. Deaf and hard of hearing individuals receive poor education, whether in regular schools or schools for deaf education. One of the main reasons for the low-quality education for this group in Algeria is their inadequate acquisition of the Arabic language and/or sign language on one hand, and the lack of suitability and adaptation of the curriculum that meets their needs as well as mental and linguistic capabilities on the other hand. Therefore, this paper aims to shed light on the importance of teaching individuals with hearing impairments in Arabic alongside sign language, emphasizing the need to reconsider improving the curricula designed for teaching the deaf and hard of hearing, and working on adapting suitable teaching-learning strategies to improve their linguistic and academic levels, thus contributing to their integration into society, just like any hearing individual.
