Résumé: The study aimed to demonstrate the role of the green economy in achieving sustainable development through environmentally friendly projects and new technologies in the field of renewable and clean energy in Algeria, with the development of existing sectors and changing unsustainable consumption patterns. This is through the integration of the analytical and descriptive approaches, and it has been demonstrated through this study that this shift in economics requires the provision of mechanisms for financing and the production of such capacities. We have found that the implementation of any such mechanism requires conditions for its success, both in terms of resources and in terms of the will of the authorities to adopt this approach in Algeria. This is evident by long-term policies such as the 2015-2030 Renewable energies Program for exploiting such capacities because of their critical environmental, economic and social importance
