Résumé: Renewable energy is a clean source of energy produc tion which does not result in environmental contaminations. Some can be used permanently throughout the day, such as ocean energy and biofue l. Some others are used intermittently, such as solar and wind power, and t hat they are related to the phenomenon of climate change over time. Renewable e nergy is the hope in energy saving in the future on the one hand because it is an inexhaustible energy. Therefore the renewable energies allow an o pportunity to provide the world's energy future. In spite of the richness of some Arabic economies in the field of the solar and wind energies, their use is still very weak. The fundamental reason is that most of these countries depend on fossil energy sources as well as the lack of awareness of the im portance of renewable energies . The study shows that there is no special policy can be recommended to follow in order to develop renewable energies. There are so many that the selection of one of them is determined according to the data of each country like: power mode, the economic entity and the abund ance of alternatives. The study also shows the possibility of the implementat ion of the policy for a specific period then it is developed or replaced according t o the data in a timely manner. This is in order to achieve the desired objectives in the light of specific considerations, and restructuring the energy marke t, and the adoption of an ambitious energy and efficient programs at the nati onal and regional levels. Another matter is shown by the study which is the need to move in a big economic entities to be integrated into the green e conomy facing energy challenge. So we need to introduce entities decentr alized in the distribution of roles, and the exchange of information and experien ces among themselves through an effective and fruitful cooperation. Alth ough there are expected difficulties; the presence of political will would apply it. This study concluded that Algeria is doing well gre at in the field of renewable energies, nevertheless that their cost i s still high . Experts say that Algeria remains among the most prominent countries in renewable energies in the world. Algeria plays a major and important rol e in the energy equation because it has enormous natural resources in the f ield of renewable energies .
