الأوضاع الاجتماعية والثقافية في الجزائر ما بين الحربين العالميتين (1919-1939)

Résumé: إن سياسة المستعمر القائمة على تهميش الجزائريين قد ارتفعت فترة ما بين الحربين العالميتين من خلال فرض الضرائب وإجبارهم على الأعمال الشاقة مقابل أجر زهيد، كما نسجل خلال نفس الفترة تزايد هجرة الجزائريين نحو الخارج هروبا من الظروف الصعبة والقاسية. وسلب ونهب أراضيهم وممتلكاتهم، إضافة الى الجفاف والفقر، جعلهم كل ذلك يعيشون الامرين من المعاناة والامراض، ذلك ما دفع بسكان الريف بالنزوح الى المدينة وبالتالي زيادة معاناتاهم أمام ظلم المستوطنين، وإذا تطرقنا الى الوضع الثقافي ليس هو بالأفضل عن الجانب الاجتماعي، لأن المستعمر ومنذ السنوات الأولى لاحتلاله الجزائر عملا على طمس الهوية الوطنية والقضاء على مقوماتها، عن طريق غلق المساجد والمدارس القرآنية ومصادرة أموال الأوقاف، وفرض تعليم فرنسي بمناهج قائمة دخيلة على المجتمع الجزائري. وذلك ما سنحاول توضيحه في مقالنا هذا. The colonizer's policy of marginalizing Algerians increased during the interwar period by imposing taxes and forcing them to work hard for a small wage and looting of their land and property, in addition to drought and poverty, made them live in suffering and diseases, which prompted the rural population to flee to the city and thus increase their suffering in the face of the settlers' oppression. If we touch on the cultural situation in which it is not better from the social aspect, because the colonizer, since the first years of its occupation in Algeria, worked to obliterate the national identity and eliminate its components, by closing mosques and Quranic schools, confiscating endowment funds, and imposing French education with existing curricula to the Algerian society. And that is what we will try to clarify in this article.
