The Problematic Of Sustainable Development Of The Fisheries Sector In An Empirical And Analytical Approach -coastal Areas In Algeria
Résumé: After becoming a strategic sector, fishing sector received special attention by the public authorities in Algeria, however, that in spite of efforts to bring down the dimensions of sustainable development by the reality shows that the socioeconomics situation for fishermen continues to deteriorate with the constant rise in the prices of halieutic resources the one hand, with the deterioration of fish stocks on the other. In this context, this paper is trying, through analytical and field study, to highlight the most important underlying structural imbalances in the fishing sector and discuss ways to overcome these imbalances.
