Résumé: The study aimed to identify the impact of the financial structure on the profitability of commercial banks, the study of the National Bank of Algeria BNA (2010-2020). To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive statistics method was used. The results of the study found: - When financing with the own capital, it leads to a higher rate of profitability of the assets. - There is a direct relationship between the ratio of owned capital to total assets and the rate of return on assets. - There is no indication of an impact on the rate of return on assets. Financing by the capital owned by the National Bank of Algeria (BNA) works to increase its share of the profits
