Résumé: Reptiles, as one of the traditional sources, are known to possess anti-cancer properties and have been used for a long time without a clear scientific background. Inhibits the survival and proliferation of various cancer cells, chameleons are among the curative reptiles known since ancient times, this research aims to study the antiangiogenic effect of C. Chameleons in Chick chorioallantoic membrane (CAM). The study began with a survey at the level of El-OUED State for the uses of common C. Chameleons and cancer in particular for two groups of society (herbal sellers and general doctors). The different compounds of C. Chameleon were extracted from its powder sequentially with three kinds of solvents of different polarity (hexane, methanol, and then water). After the extraction process, Metals in the chameleon powder were detected by the MEB device, the functional groups of the chemical components of the three extracts were identified by FT-IR, the egg sac was infiltrated, and on the seventh day filter discs saturated with extracts (hexane, methanol and water) and treated with DMSO and bévacizumab in were transferred to the placental membrane (CAM), and the eggs were incubated for 72 hours. The results of the MEB device showed the presence of some minerals in the powder ash (calcium, potassium, phosphate), in the results of the FT-IR analysis there are some functional groups that have been identified that may be related to lipids and vitamin E in the hexane extract, vitamin B12 in the methanolic extract, proteins and vitamin B6 in the aqueous extract. The results of the vascular inhibition efficacy for day 11 showed: the number of blood vessels ranged from 2 to 5 blood vessels, the branches ranged from 10 to 24 branches, the degree of angiogenesis ranged from 1 to 2, and the inhibition area ranged from 16 to 26 cm.The latest findings in this study demonstrated that the mechanism of antiangiogenic activity for aqueous, hexane and methanol extracts of chameleon powder respectively, It may be related to those compounds (vitamins B6, B12, E, proteins and minerals) that have the ability to block the VEGF receptor, thus inhibiting angiogenesis.
