Résumé: عارضت إسرائيل إنشاء المحكمة الجنائية الدولية، ورفضت بشدّة نظام روما الأساسي، وأبدت مخاوفها من إمكانية ملاحقة قادتها ومسؤوليها العسكريين الذين ارتكبوا جرائم حرب، وجرائم ضد الإنسانية في فلسطين، خاصة في غزة، وازدادت مخاوف إسرائيل من المساءلة والعقاب بعد انضمام فلسطين إلى المحكمة الجنائية الدولية، لتنتهج سياسة التهديد بإيعاز من حليفتها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. Israel has opposed the establishment of the International Criminal Court, and vehemently rejected the Rome Statute, and expressed fears that its leaders and military officials who have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in Palestine, especially in Gaza, may be prosecuted. Thus, Israel grew greater fears of accountability and punishment after Palestine had adhered to the International Criminal Court, then it followed a threatening policy instructed by its ally, the United States of America.
