Résumé: تتناول الدراسة تقييم أداء سلطة السمعي البصري في الجزائر التي تم إنشاؤها بموجب قانون السمعي البصري 14-04، وذلك من خلال استبيان آراء عينة من الإعلاميين العاملين في القنوات الإذاعية والتلفزيونية العمومية والخاصة، وتتمحور الدراسة حول معرفة اتجاهات الإعلاميين إزاء التركيبة البشرية لسلطة السمعي البصري، وكذا تقييمهم لنشاطها ومدى استقلاليتها عن وزارة الاتصال من خلال منح الرخص، واتخاذ القرارات ومراقبة وضبط القنوات الناشطة بالجزائر. وخلصت الدراسة إلى وجود عدم الرضا عن إقصاء الإعلاميين من عضوية هذه الهيئة، وأن أداءها لم يكن في مستوى التطلعات والنشاط الإعلامي في الجزائر، كما أن هناك تداخلا في الصلاحيات بين وزارة الاتصال وسلطة الضبط، مما أدى إلى عدم استقلالية هذه الأخيرة في مجال ضبط النشاط السمعي البصري في الجزائر ومراقبته. The study deals with assessing the performance of the audiovisual authority in Algeria, which was created by the Audiovisual law 14-04, through a questionnaire for the opinions of a sample of media professionals working in public and private radio and television channels.The study focuses on knowing the trends of media professionals regarding the structure of the audiovisual authority, as well as their evaluation of its activity and its independence from the Ministry of Communication by granting licenses, decision-making, and monitoring and controlling channels active in Algeria. The study concluded that there is a dissatisfaction about the exclusion of media professionals from the leadership of this authority, and that its performance was not at the level of aspirations and media activity in Algeria, There is an overlap in the tasks between the Ministry of Communication and the audiovisual authority, which led to lack of independence in the field of controlling and monitoring audiovisual activity in Algeria
