Résumé: This study aims to show the determinants of profitability in the banks listed in the Kuwaiti stock market during the period from 2010 to 2021. The study included the impact of a group of variables on a sample of eight banks. Where the dependent variable is the profitability expressed as the return on the share and the independent variables are the marginal sufficiency of capital, the liquidity ratio, the financial leverage ratio, the credit risk rate, the credit risk and the controlling variable represented in the size of the bank. Using the "Panel" model based on the "EVIEWSE" program, we reached the following results:  There is no effect of the capital adequacy ratio on the profitability of the study sample banks  There is no effect of the liquidity ratio on the profitability of the study sample banks  There is no effect of the financial leverage ratio on the profitability of the study sample banks  There is an effect of the credit risk rate on the profitability of the study sample banks  There is an effect of credit risk on the profitability of the study sample banks.
