The Effect Of Context And Expected Consequences Of Quality Assurance In Algerian Higher Education Public Institutions
Résumé: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the intention drivers to participate in the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) as a change in Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Algeria. 48 interviews have been conducted at four HEI with different stakeholders. Following the interviews, a national survey has been conducted with 166 students and 206 lecturers. The mains findings reveal that The number of institutional dysfunctions can be a hindrance factor to contribute in the implementation of the change and beliefs about four expected outcomes of QA explain the intention to participate in the change.
