The Role Of Communicative Games In Enhancing Efl Learners' Oral Communicative Competence. Students Of Almaahed Language School As A Case Study
Résumé: In light of the importance of speaking as one of the basic skills that play a vital role in enhancing students 'language learning, this study aims to examine the role of communicative games in enhancing English as a foreign language learners' oral competence. To this end, the study was conducted on 77 EFL learners and 6 teachers at Almaahed private school. Qualitative and quantitative methods were adopted for this study. In addition, the data collection tools used in this study include interviews with private school teachers of English as a foreign language for oral expression and a speaking module along with questionnaires given to students. The research results show a significant improvement in the competence of oral communication due to the incorporation of communicative games into the speaking sessions. Teaching speaking using such types of games appears to have a positive effect and better educational outcomes.
