Résumé: بعد عرض تاريخي موجز حول شخصية ابن خلدون تطرقنا فيه لكل من ولادته، أسرته، نسبه، نشأته و دراسته، تنقلاته في بلدان المغرب، رحلته إلى المشرق وفاته، نشاطه و شخصيته تناول هذا المقال أهم الأفكار الاجتماعية لابن خلدون و التي تمحورت في نقاط أساسية و المتمثلة في اكتشافه لعلم جديد و نظريته الاجتماعية و التربوية والسكانية والدولة و العصبية و غيرها من الإسهامات الأخرى و مدى فعاليتها في دراسة واقع المجتمعات العربية الإسلامية After a historical display a summary about the personality of Ibn Khaldun We discussed it for each of his birth, his family, lineage, upbringing and his studies, his movements in the Maghreb countries, his trip to the Orient, and his death, his activities and his personality dealt with this article the most important social ideas of Ibn Khaldun and which focused on key points and the discovery of a new science and social theory and education, population and state theory and other contributions, and their effectiveness in the study of the reality of the Arab - Islamic societies.
