وضع استراتيجية متكاملة للتنمية العمراانية المستدامة

Résumé: With the increasing contemporary developments in urban management, the emergence of new concepts and trends such as sustainable urban development and others, and the emergence of challenges facing them, it was necessary for these cities to prepare and develop integrated strategies for them, based on a clear and specific philosophy that contributes to achieving their goals and helps them implement the requirements of sustainable urban development, which ensures survival and improved performance in light of these changes, and enables city managers to make better use of information in making strategic decisions to achieve sustainable urban development in cities. The method of strategic planning is the natural approach to preparing a strategy for the city according to the most important methods and tools, which means managing the requirements of sustainable urban development for it and thus identifying its strengths and weaknesses, which ultimately leads to defining the strategy, alternatives, and thus prepare a sound perception of its paths in different situations. The research aims to develop a methodology, foundations and logical rules for how to evaluate those previously established strategies in order to reach the optimal strategies that can be applied in cities, taking this as a case study of the city of Bou-Saada, which also suffers from deficiencies in its methodology for managing the requirements of sustainable urban development according to the stages of preparing its plans. Therefore, by neglecting many factors that have significant impacts on the plan’s sustainability in the medium and long term, and thus it is closer to a traditional development plan that is unable to absorb the rapid changes it is going through and the great challenges it faces, which constitutes a major challenge in reaching achieving Sustainable urban development in the city of Bou-Saada.
