أطماع محمد علي باشا التوسعية في السودان 1821م ــ 1881م ( دراسة في الأسباب و الدوافع)

Résumé: الملخص : تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على حقبة مهمة من تاريخ المشرق العربي خلال النصف الأول من القرن التاسع عشر، تربع فيه محمد علي باشا على عرش مصر وما ترتب على ذالك من تحولات داخلية وخارجية وخاصة في سياسته التوسعية حيث أصبح يحلم بتوسيع رقعة أراضيه المصرية، فوجه أنظاره شرقا نحو الأراضي الحجازية، وغربا نحو ليبيا، وجنوبا نحو السودان حتى منابع النيل كما زاد في طموحه فشمل تهديد الخلافة العثمانية شمالا، وفي حلول 1821م كان قد نفذ شقا كبيرا من مخططه إذ سير حملة بقيادة ابنه إسماعيل باشا إلى بلاد السودان متعذرا بأسباب عديدة لذلك التوسع . Abstract: This study aims to shed light on an important period in the history of the Arab Mashreq during the first half of the nineteenth century, in which Muhammad Ali Pasha ascended to the throne of Egypt and the consequent internal and external transformations, especially in his expansion policy, as he dreamed of expanding his Egyptian lands. His sights towards the east towards the Hijaz lands, west towards Libya, and south towards Sudan up to the sources of the Nile also increased in his ambition to include the threat of the Ottoman caliphate in the north, and by 1821 AD he had carried out a large part of his plan as a campaign led by his son Ismail Pasha carried out a campaign led by his son, Ismail Pasha, to the country of Sudan, with many reasons for that.
