Résumé: ضمن هذه الورقة البحثية قصة اعتناق قس بروتستانتي ألماني الإسلام وهجرته من أراضي الإمبراطورية الجرمانية الرومانية المقدسة إلى عاصمة الخلافة الإسلامية بإسطنبول، وفي خضم الصراع بين الإمبراطورية وحلفائها المسيحيين وبين الخلافة والقوى الإسلامية الموالية لها على المستوى السياسي والعسكري، كانت الصراع الفكري والديني والدعائي ضمن أقصى مستوياته. لقد شق مجموعة من الأوروبيين المسحيين طريقا خطيرا من أجل البحث عن الحقيقة التي تخلصهم من عقيدة التثليث التي رءوا فيها تكبيل لقدرات العقل ولحرية الانسان الروحية والجسدية، وكان ذلك بإرادتهم، لم يكونوا أسرى ولا مطلوبين للقصاص بل كانوا مفكرين أدركوا حقائق عميقة وأدركوا معها خطورة الثورة على المنظومات المتوارثة. This paper talk about the story of a German Protestant pastor who converted to Islam and moved from the Holy Roman Germanic Empire to Istanbul, the capital of the Islamic Caliphate. The intellectual, theological, and propaganda struggle peaked during the political and military struggle between the Empire and its Christian allies, the Caliphate and the Islamic powers loyal to it. By their own free will, a group of Christian Europeans walked a perilous trail to seek the truth that would liberate them from the dogma of Trinity, which they perceived as a restriction on human freedom both spiritual and bodily. They were intellectuals who understood important truths and the peril of revolt against the established structures, not criminals or targets of retaliation.
