Résumé: Customs is the most important link in the import and export process due to the role it plays in protecting the national economy through the collections it collects for the benefit of the public treasury, and following up on violators of the procedures stipulated by the law, Several amendments have occurred to the customes laws since the first law was issued in 1979. The legal framework for customs crime has witnessed several changes, especially in the classification of crimes and the penalties assigned to them. Through this study, we concluded that the elements of customs crimes are an exception to the general rule of crimes, and that the legislator separated between crimes committed inside customs offices and crimes committed outside customs offices.
