Résumé: يتناول هذا البحث ظاهرة التغيير الاجتماعي من خلال تبني نظرية العالم الأمريكي وليم أوجبرن المعروفة بنظرية التخلف الثقافي ، ومن ثم بناء مقاربة لواقع المجتمعات العربية المعاصرة وأثرة الجوانب المادية متمثلة بوسائل الاتصال أو العولمة الثقافية ، وتأثيراتها في البناء الثقافي العربي This paper deals with the phenomenon of social change through the adoption of the American scientist William Ogburn’s theory known as ‘the theory of cultural backwardness’. We seek also to approach to the reality of contemporary Arab societies and its impact on materialistic aspects represented by means of communication or cultural globalization, and the effects of the latter on the Arab cultural construction.
