حملة أغاثوكليس على إفريقيا 310 - 307 ق.م

Résumé: الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو الوقوف على حقيقة الحملة التي شنها الطاغية أغاثوكليس على قرطاجة وإفريقيا عام 310 ق.م،فقد شكلت هذه الحملة حدثا مفصليا في تاريخ منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط عموما وتاريخ شمال إفريقيا وقرطاجة خصوصا، وبينت الأحداث أنّ معركة هيميرا 480 ق.م، لم تكن نهاية للصراع بقدر ما كانت دافعا قويا نحو الاستعداد مرة أخرى لخوض غمار الحرب، ولو بعد سبعين سنة من السلام، فدخلت على إثرها صقلية في دوامة من الفوضى والاضطراب، في ظل وجود أنظمة طاغية كانت في كل مرة سببا في اشتعال فتيل الحرب. و أهمية هذه المرحلة محل دراستنا ليست لأنّها استمرار للصراع الذي خاضته قرطاجة ضد طغاة الإغريق من جيلون الى دونيس ثم ضد القائد تيموليون فحسب، بل لأنّ قرطاجة أضحت مسرحا للحرب بعد أن نقلت رحاها من صقلية إلى أراضيها منذ عام 310 ق.م، ودق على إثرها ناقوس الخطر على قرطاجة وعلى وجودها وعلى حضارتها،كما كانت محل اهتمام كبير من المؤرخين، فكانت لها أدوار ونتائج وانعكاسات على قرطاجة وبلاد المغرب القديم، وعلى الصراع الذي طال أمده بين الإغريق والقرطاجيين. The aim of this study is to determine the truth about the campaign launched by the tyrant Agathocles against Carthage and Africa in 310 BC. This campaign constituted a pivotal event in the history of the Mediterranean region in general and the history of North Africa and Carthage in particular- not because it was a continuation of the conflict that Carthage waged against the Greek tyrants from Gelon to Dunis and then against the leader Timoleon - but because Carthage became a theater of war after it transferred its rule from Sicily to its lands in 310 BC- and as a result the alarm bell sounded over Carthage- its existence- and its civilization. It was also the subject of great interest from historians. It had roles- results- and repercussions on Carthage- the ancient Maghreb- the long-standing conflict between the Greeks and the Carthaginians- and the Mediterranean region.
