Résumé: توفرت بلاد المغرب القديم على إمكانيات اقتصادية ساهمت في تحقيق الاستقرار الاقتصادي للإمبراطورية الرمانية، حيث أدرك الرومان منذ احتكاكهم بالأرض الإفريقية الأهمية الزراعية لبلاد المغرب القديم و تعرفوا على ثروات المنطقة المتنوعة. قام الرومان باستغلال واسع للأرض الافريقية وعملوا على تكثيف الإنتاج الزراعي من خلال بعض الإجراءات الخاصة، وذلك لتلبية طلبات المجتمع الروماني المتزايدة من جهة ولخدمة اغراض سياسية من جهة أخرى ، سنسلط الضوء عبر هذا المقال على الاستغلال الزراعي الروماني في الولايات الافريقية) البروقنصلية و نوميديا (خلال العهد الامبراطوري الاول.
