Résumé: The financial and banking institutions are the basis and the cornerstone of building the economy of any country. It is the main and effective element in the economic development process and the tool through which the state implements its monetary and monetary policy. The Algerian state has focused on promoting this sector, which has undergone successive reforms since independence until today. The importance of these banks is apparent through what they offer to their customers in an attempt to meet their needs and desires to the degree they aspire to, using modern mechanisms and techniques, which raises the side of competition between them. As the banks are racing to provide the best service to their customers in order to gain the largest share in the banking market, which increases the competition between public banks and private banks involved in the banking arena, the more competition the customer had the option and freedom in dealing with a bank or another and this is due to quality of services and how to provide them, in addition to their cost.
