The Share Of Foreign Banks In The Algerian Economy
Résumé: Our results raised essential points of the contribution of foreign-owned banks to the improvement of the Algerian banking system, namely the financing of the economy. We had tried to analyse the annual reports of the Bank of Algeria in recent years. These reports have clearly indicated a predominance of public banks in the financing of the economy and that the Algerian banking system remains essentially dominated by public banks but this does not prevent an improvement in the share of financing of the economy by foreign capital banks. So, we can say that these banks contribute in some way to the improvement of the financing of the economy.
