Résumé: This study tries to identify the level and extent of practice of research and development activities, and the level of Technological Creativity in a sample of Algerian industrial enterprises.It also aims to know the extent to which research and development activities contribute to the operationalization of Technological Creativity by studying the relationship and influence between the independent variable represented in research and development activities, and is Technological Creativity as a dependent variable. To achieve these goals, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to the heads of research and development departments and production departments in the industrial establishments under study.The studied sample consisted of 146 questionnaire forms. The study reached a variety of results, the most important of which is that the level of research and development activities is high in most industrial establishments, but few of these institutions are interested in long-term research and have intense research and development activities, which may result in patents.The level of Technological Creativity is high, but most of these innovations are improved products or imitations of the products of leading companies, that is, they have not yet reached the degree of radical innovation. The study found that there are differences in the practice of research and development activities due to the size of the institution.There are also differences in the level of Technological Creativity in industrial establishments, due to the formality of research and development activities,as well as the form of the practice of the latter whether permanent, circumstantial or temporary. There are no differences in Technological Creativity due to the size of the institution. The study also found that research and development activities lead to the operationalization and strengthening of Technological Creativity in Algerian industrial enterprises.
